Although Black River Falls is notable for being the focal point of the 1973 book “Wisconsin Death Trip”, it is also the home of a four-piece rock band that uses music as a way to express ideas or emotions. The band is Toner. Since their formation in 2012, Toner has spent several years playing bars, fairs, and festivals within their local community and state, delivering an eclectic blend of rock music, a so-called “jam-packed goodness”.

In 2016, the band started work on their debut album with friend and local musician, Tim Nelson. The self-titled album was completed in mid-2017 and released in November of the same year. “Toner” consists of eleven original tracks as diverse as their live set.
